Lago Cellars 2023 Unoaked Chardonnay – Amphora
Locally grown and sourced right here in the Grand River Valley. This is a unique unoaked Chardonnay as the fermentation process using a clay vessel instead of the traditional oak barrels or stainless steel.
Amphora, ancient clay vessels, have made a remarkable comeback in the winemaking world, rekindling interest in traditional methods.

Lago Cellars 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon American
We partnered with a local winery to come up with a blend of different Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from the top wine grape growing regions in the United States. Grapes were sourced from California, Oregon, Ohio and New York to make this unique Cabernet.

Inky purple-red complexion with a full body. Pronounced aromas of cherry, raspberry, tobacco, leather, and mulling spice make for a complex experience. Bright acidity on the pallet brings out initial flavors of fresh raspberries, blackberries, and black cherry. These bright flavors give way to jam / berry notes and a spiced vanilla on the back end. Tannins are smooth, but apparent on the pallet leaving a dry lingering finish.

Locally grown and sourced right here the Grand River Valley. This is one of the finest examples of a cold climate grown Cabernet Sauvignon our area has to offer.
Cabernet sauvignon grapes grown in cooler climates exhibit red fruit, mint, and green peppercorn flavors. The wines they produce typically have a lighter body compared to their warm-climate counterparts.
